Tadzio has an MA in in creative writing from the University of East Anglia, and has been the recipient of writing residencies at Yaddo, Jentel, Caldera, and New York Mills.

His first two manuscripts were shortlisted for the Faulkner Society’s William Faulkner/William Widom award, Fate's Lieutenant in 2003 and Bad of Country in 2011. Excerpts from these have appeared in the Madison Review, Ozone Park Journal, and Bicycle Review. Tadzio is currently working on a novel, Trenton Makes. He is represented by A. M. Heath.

Tadzio also regularly reviews fiction for a number of publications, including the New York Times Book Review, the Times Literary Supplement, the New Statesman, the Guardian, and the Jewish Quarterly.
